Laws of UX

The Spark app is great to start a project.

It is very straight forward and very limited in what you can do. But that is the great part. Once you try to do something and you see you can't you also understand better what you want from the project and eventually either simplify it to accommodate the app's features or start again with a different application, like Mobirise. I enjoyed using the app to present the Aesthetic Usability Effect to my classroom.

Info-graphics are an excellent way to present complex information in a clean, visually appealing way.

The world cup will soon reach it's 100 birthday. Since 1930, the world has witnessed 21 editions, of what is now the most watched event in the world. The logos used for this event take us back to different art currents, that made their way into the the logo of this event.

After designing the first version I decided to cut back on the information provided, and only show the year of the event, the host country, the logo, and where available the name of the designer or the design company. 

Animated Web Ads - Milkster

This project was about creating a series of ads. My company of choice was Milkster, a local ice-cream company that uses nitrogen to freeze the cream instantly.

This was by far my favorite project this semester. Although it is very difficult to take the right shot, in the end it is worth it. I actually used a free video from the internet in order to create this ad for Modern T Co.
